VATSIM Scandinavia is pleased to announce a full revision of the docomeentation available for pilots flying to Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, which together form the Reykjavik Control Area.

Reykjavik Pilot Page

The guides are also used for ATC training so pilots can rest [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ured they are getting the same information that our controllers will use to guide your flights. On that page you will also find a sector map (for the bigger picture), links to charts, and our recommended flight planning tool, vRoute. Last but not least, there is a selection of quality sceneries for all three countries.

This announcement comes as the real world authority - Isavia - releases plans for a dramatic expansion of our main airport at Keflavik (Icelandic only). We hope that the increase in flights in real life will be matched by a similar increase in activity on VATSIM

In short, take a look at our new guides, download a scenery and take to the virtual skies in Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands!
