Hi all,

Today I was testing the new beta version with the new tools as VCCS. I think it is a great tool for coordination, but we couldn't get it to work.

I tested it with a friend and we were both on "green", but he couldn't call me or I couldn't call him.

In the docomeentation it is saying to put our server, but which server ? I don't have any server. I had "FSD Server" running on port 9988 with TS server started. In Euroscope, Message Server: "Tower view listener failed to start".

If anyone is able to help, it would be great.

Thanks,

Matthew M.

Hi Matthew,

To me the docomeentation is quite clear, you need a teamspeak server, but a standard one, one that was coded by Gergely, currently, the EuroScope FSD server also includes a TS server, so start it, and have your friend connect to it as well, for that you'll need to have your ports open:

To resume, so far it's only for local simulations or testing, we'll have to wait for the linux ts server, which gergely will do.

Very excited by this feature, it's gonna be great.

Hi.

I have been trying to install and startup EuroScope TeamSpeak 3 Server on our VACC-CZ Ubuntu server. I have been following instuctions written down on this page: http://www.euroscope.hu/installbeta/changes.html. At first, I had problems with libc6 library compatibility during installation, but I solved it.

When installation was completed, I typed in 'sudo service ests3 start' command, everything seemed to be fine because 'ests3 start/running, process 26563' response showed up but when I typed in 'sudo service ests3 status' it responed 'ests3 stop/waiting'.

So I have found out that it is installed in /opt/EuroScopeTs3Server/ folder which contains 'EuroScopeTs3Server' and 'libts3server_linux_x86.so' files. I tried to execute './ EuroScopeTs3Server' but it responded './EuroScopeTs3Server: error while loading shared libraries: libts3server_linux_x86.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'.

Can anybody help me with this problem? Thanks.

EDIT: One thing, I can't find ests3 in /etc/init.d folder.
