INTRODUCTION On 1 November 2015, the WorldFlight event will occur throughout the week and will be visiting Hong Kong Intl Airport (VHHH). ETA for the charity flights is 2110 UTC. ETD for the charity flights is 2240 UTC. For more information, visit http://www.worldflight.com.au/ops/schedule/. Hong Kong VACC will provide full coverage ATC service between the hours of 2000 UTC and 2359 UTC. This NOTAM will provide pilots with information about ATC requirements with regard to air traffic management. Pilots should endeavour to comply with these requirements to minimize delays and disruption. 2. PRE-DEPARTURE CLEARANCE ATC may elect to issue pre-departure clearance to aircraft on the ground with correct flight plan filed when departure traffic volume is higher than normal. If that is the case, pilots will be notified via ATIS message “PRE-DEPARTURE CLEARANCE IN USE”. If a pilot has received pre-departure clearance from Hong Kong Delivery via private text message, there is no need to contact Hong Kong delivery. Such pilot may contact the appropriate Hong Kong Ground controller for push back and start up clearance. 3. LANDING RUNWAY Due to high traffic volume during the event, pilots may be [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned to use either the north RWY (RWY07L/25R) or the south runway (RWY07R/25L) for landing. Final [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment will be advised by Hong Kong Approach. Pilots shall be prepared to land on either runway. This is effective between 2000 UTC and 2359 UTC, 1NOV15. 4. HOLDING FUEL ATC anticipate a maximum airborne delay of 30 minutes. Pilots should carry sufficient holding fuel to absorb this delay. 5. RESERVED GATES The following gates at Hong Kong Intl Airport (VHHH) will be reserved between 2030 UTC and 2300 UTC for WorldFlight charity flights: E1, E2, E3, E4, S23, S25 6. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES Pilots are reminded that noise-abatement procedures are in effect at VHHH between 1501 UTC and 2300 UTC.
