VATAFR New Structure and Staff Appointment

Dear All

 

After much deliberation , we have decided on the new structure of the VATAFR Division. The division will comprise of two vACC's, ACCSAF and ACCNAF divided roughly by the equator. We will get both of these VACC's up and running, and we will then consider opening up VACC's in more local areas. Since currently the South is a lot more active, we will develop it and then use the exact same model to develop the north.

 

Last week we held the first vACC meeting where I explained the changes to the division to the members and where we elected staff for the new vACC.

I am proud to announce the election of the following members as staff of ACCSAF at last weeks vACC member meeting:

vACC Director - George Condes - With many many years of experience all over the VATSIM world we are sure that George will do an outstanding job of reviving Southern Africa!

Membership Director-Emile Hallaby-A member of VATSIM for many years, he is known to all who have p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed through the VATSIM South Africa teamspeak as a kind helpful person and this makes him the perfect candidate for this role.

Event's Director-Gert Breed ([Mod - Happy Thoughts]isted by Graham Johns and Efet Banda)- Although fairly new to VATSIM Gert has some wonderful insight and ideas, and we know that he will continuously keep the African skies lit up with interesting events.

 

Congratulations to all of them on being appointed and I look forward to working with you in the coming months.

There are a few other vACC positions which were not filled and will be advertised shortly so keep an eye out!
