Easiest way to edit a ground layout.

I've recently created a ground sector file for an airport, by using a default BGL, FSX2FS9 and SectEd. I'm quite happy with the easiness of how the method works, but it does come with downsides: it's a bit shabby.

Places like here, where a bend occurs in the taxiway:

or here, where a taxiway bends at 90 degrees in order to connect with the runway.

What is the easiest/most efficient way of editing my ground layout, in order to make it nicer and polished up?

Cheers.

Kind Regards,

Kieran Cross,

I personally use Global Mapper for making the layout.

Import aerial photographs of the airfield and just trace the edges for making polygons. And add lines to make taxiway networks and so on.

Then export to KMZ and use the euroscope designer tool (http://fsmine.dhis.org/euroscope/design/help/)

To get the files which I then add to the Sector file.

Is there a non-profit licence available. Because I read something about 499$ ...

That would be Google earth for instance.

Works the same way, trace the airport with lines and polygons export your kmz file and upload to the beforementioned tool.

I used this site:

I used Excel to convert the coordinates.
