Board of Governors Roger Curtiss Posted January 16, 2016 at 07:46 PM Board of Governors Posted January 16, 2016 at 07:46 PM I installed Windows 10 and FSX is running just fine. However, I wanted to access my fsx.cfg file for the first time since the upgrade. I went looking for Appdata since that is where fsx.cfg resided in Win7 but could not locate that folder. So-I did a search for fsx.cfg and it came up in my ProgramFilesx86/REX folder-which strikes me as a bit odd since I run FSX under C:/FSX. I am wondering if that fsx.cfg should be stored somewhere else and if so-where? Bradley Grafelman Posted January 16, 2016 at 08:09 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 08:09 PM Try navigating to "%AppData%\Microsoft\FSX" - it should be in there. (Full path without variables would be something like "C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX".)
Board of Governors Roger Curtiss Posted January 17, 2016 at 03:23 AM Author Board of Governors Posted January 17, 2016 at 03:23 AM Thanks. I found it using the full path but you were right it was in AppData\Roaming\FSX as it should be.
