Incorrect user id/password

So I decided to download XSquawkbox and was extremely excited to be able to fly with others without a robotic ATC! Only to see when I tried to connect it said "Incorrect CID/P[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word" I know people are going to ask if I copy and pasted it, and I didn't I made sure there were correct caps in the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word and everything but it seems it still doesn't want to work. I read it takes up to 24 hours to activate and I signed up on Saturday night and its Monday night. I also tried the other servers and they say "Does not accept new user logins" so I'm stuck to posting onto the forums to figure this out. I am running X-plane 9 on Mac. I know there are a handful of these exact problems but it seems everything they tried, I tried and then later they are just magically fixed. Help would be much appreciated!

That didn't seem to work. It only says they can send you the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word again, which I did that just incase and still nothing. I even downloaded a older version to see if that was the case and still it didn't work! I really want to get on Vatsim but it seems it does not want me to.

Well, I am afraid it is not limited to XSquawkbox, so I suggest you at least try downloading an ATC client to check if you can log in as an observer. If not, you can open a ticket in membership help.

 

The ATC client, is only to make sure if it VATSIM or the client.

We already know your username and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word is working since you are using it here on the forum. Can you try again making sure to use the CID 1347886 and the same p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word you are using here on the forum.

I have typed and retyped the CID and the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word numerous times. I carefully entered each letter and made sure there was no spacing.

Have you tried to connect to another server... that shouldn't be the cause, but it's worth a shot.
