Ned Hamilton 1215492 Posted January 25, 2016 at 09:30 PM Posted January 25, 2016 at 09:30 PM I want to try one of the beta versions but I want to be sure that I can revert back to my stable version. So how can I go back to an earlier version if I try out the beta? Ned
Bradley Grafelman Posted January 25, 2016 at 10:22 PM Posted January 25, 2016 at 10:22 PM You can download the stable version installer and revert back to the stable channel if you don't want to remain on the beta.
Ross Carlson Posted January 26, 2016 at 12:13 AM Posted January 26, 2016 at 12:13 AM To clarify, you would download the current stable release from the vPilot web site. There is no way to revert from Beta to Stable and download the latest stable build within vPilot itself. Before you download and install the stable version from the web site, you'll want to change the channel from Beta to Stable in the settings. If you don't, as soon as you run the stable version, it'll prompt you to download the latest Beta version, because your config file will still be set to pull the latest beta. To summarize, to revert from beta back to stable: 1) Go into vPilot settings, set the channel back to Stable. 2) Download and install the latest stable version from the vPilot website.
