George Leonard 1000605 Posted February 17, 2016 at 10:08 AM Author Posted February 17, 2016 at 10:08 AM NEWBIE VFR Training Flight - FAWB 24 Feb @ 18:15z DATE: Wednesday, 24 February 2016 @ 18:15z (20H15 Local on TS Africa Server for briefing) DEPART: Wonderboom Airport (FAWB) ARRIVAL: Wonderboom Airport (FAWB) ROUTE: WR HBV LIV WR (Place "Training Flight" in your remarks) RULES OF FLIGHT: • When in doubt, report to ATC or broadcast on Unicom, aboard and try again. • Do not enter or leave controlled airspace without ATC permission. • Always be on the lookout, good flight planning will ensure this. DEPART PROCEDURE: Depending on the active runway, depart and join the circuit reporting left/right down wind. This will be discussed before we start. Then set route to HBV CRUISE: We will cruise, depending on the weather at not higher than 7600 ft, joining HBV overhead and then set route to LIV. Overhead LIV we will set route back to FAWB NDB (WR 230), joining the circuit for the active runway.
