I am pleased to announce the return of the VATSIM Indicators. This service (previously run externally to VATSIM) went offline at the end of last year. We are pleased to welcome it back, with some modifications and improvements!

 

You can login at indicators.vatsim.net to obtain your signature link and/or customise your image.

 

My thanks to Anthony Lawrence and Florian Harms for their work on this.

Hello, Kieran! When I originally registered at VATSIM, I did so not using my real name (bad me... ). After a while, I got Membership Department to change my name to my real one. Unfortunately, VATSIM indicators keep showing the old name. Membership told me that they were getting no response from web services and that I should contact them directly at a given email address. I sent them an email and about 6 months later, I've still got no response (nor positive or negative). What can I do to solve this?

Eddy, not entirely sure what you're asking. Indicators work fine, even for members with 0 hours.

 

As was posted above, yours is working fine. Here is the URL again: https://indicators.vatsim.net/indicator/generate/1373964/0/0.png

 

Make sure you are using the entire URL, not just the abbreviated ones that are displayed in the forum. In other words:

 

DON'T highlight the URL above, copy and paste. It won't work.

 

Your two options are:

 

DO click on the URL above, and then copy the URL in your browser window/tab. That will work.

or

DO Right click on the URL above, select Copy URL address, and use the full URL. There should NOT be a ... in the middle. That will work.
