David Zhong Posted March 7, 2016 at 11:41 AM Posted March 7, 2016 at 11:41 AM To be fair, I don't think Justin advertises this as something for use outside the USA? David Zhong
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted March 7, 2016 at 12:58 PM Board of Governors Posted March 7, 2016 at 12:58 PM True. He has repeatedly stated that it's designed for the US. If you're outside the US and can find value in it, great, but please don't bash on the developer for having less than stellar results using something outside its stated design intent. It's like me throwing a snowplow on a Smart Fortwo (or a golf cart, essentially the same thing ), having terrible results plowing snow, and then complaining that Smart Fortwos are useless.... Justin Shannon Posted March 10, 2016 at 05:53 AM Author Posted March 10, 2016 at 05:53 AM Version 2.0.5912.39029 of vATIS is now available for download from the web site, or via the automatic update utility built into the ATIS client. 1275389 Posted March 19, 2016 at 09:00 PM Posted March 19, 2016 at 09:00 PM Fetch D-ATIS isn't currently working. It will fetch what seems to be an older version of the ATIS. I confirmed this by calling the ATIS (which had different information). For what it's worth, would you possibly be able to disclose the URL used in this newer version to fetch the ATIS? Justin Shannon Posted March 19, 2016 at 09:31 PM Author Posted March 19, 2016 at 09:31 PM The D-ATIS transcript text is cached four times an hour (0, 15, 30 and 45 minutes). There was an issue I fixed this morning that was causing it not to update within this interval. If you're still interested, you can use this link to get the direct text (limited to cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] B and C airports that use D-ATIS). https://vatisapi.radarcontact.me/datis.php?station=kphl&arrdep=arr Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC Developer: xPilot, vATIS

Bahaeddine El-Zarif Posted May 4, 2016 at 05:16 PM Posted May 4, 2016 at 05:16 PM When I run vATIS with VRC and connect to VRC and then vATIS double click on the facility I have no info at all. There is no config file to bring up in the drop down box like in the old version to bring the runways to use up for the facility. Did you create the configuration profiles? Take a look at the docomeentation, there's a section about how to do that. Hello Justin, I have the same issue as above. However I did read the manual, and the "new profile" seems to be gone, which basically affects the ability of using this without a configuration profile. Am I doing something wrong?
