True. He has repeatedly stated that it's designed for the US. If you're outside the US and can find value in it, great, but please don't bash on the developer for having less than stellar results using something outside its stated design intent. It's like me throwing a snowplow on a Smart Fortwo (or a golf cart, essentially the same thing ), having terrible results plowing snow, and then complaining that Smart Fortwos are useless....

Version 2.0.5912.39029 of vATIS is now available for download from the web site, or via the automatic update utility built into the ATIS client.

The following items were added or fixed in this version:

- Implement ability to customize airport data using a separate file from default airport data file.

- Fix issue with .NET compatibility errors on some machines.

This version of vATIS allows overriding of default airport data with a separate file. Create a UserAirports.xml file in the %appdata%\NavData directory. Any airports you specify in this file will override the data in the Airports.xml file. The UserAirports.xml file must use the following syntax:

<Airports>
<Airport ID="XXXX" Name="SOME AIRPORT NAME">
 <Location Lat="42.608250" Lon="-112.032461"/>
 <Runways>
  <Runway>14</Runway>
  <Runway>32</Runway>
 </Runways>
</Airport>
<Airport ID="YYYY" Name="ANOTHER AIRPORT NAME">
 <Location Lat="30.11250" Lon="-110.55781"/>
 <Runways>
  <Runway>25</Runway>
  <Runway>07</Runway>
 </Runways>
</Airport>
</Airports>

The D-ATIS transcript text is cached four times an hour (0, 15, 30 and 45 minutes). There was an issue I fixed this morning that was causing it not to update within this interval.

If you're still interested, you can use this link to get the direct text (limited to cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] B and C airports that use D-ATIS). https://vatisapi.radarcontact.me/datis.php?station=kphl&arrdep=arr

I made the update, but in spite of its my ATIS do not work for ( DAAG)

I believe you didn't setup any configuration profiles. You'll have to do that before you can add any information to your ATISes.

How to have the configuration of the profiles?

Have you tried reading the user guide?

When I run vATIS with VRC and connect to VRC and then vATIS double click on the facility I have no info at all. There is no config file to bring up in the drop down box like in the old version to bring the runways to use up for the facility.

Did you create the configuration profiles? Take a look at the docomeentation, there's a section about how to do that.

Hello Justin,

I have the same issue as above. However I did read the manual, and the "new profile" seems to be gone, which basically affects the ability of using this without a configuration profile.

Am I doing something wrong?

So you used CTRL + F to open the configuration manager to attempt to create a new profile, but didn't see the option?
