Bradley Roebuck 1297480 Posted March 8, 2016 at 07:52 AM Posted March 8, 2016 at 07:52 AM Hello So recently I have been getting ntdll.dll crashes in P3D v3. I have found the cause of the crash but I'm not sure how to fix it The IVAO_mtl is at fault and it's the c172 folder that was corrupt. Whenever I get the error in vpilot for the error for the c172 model it crashes my sim and I get an ntdll.dll crash I just need to know how I should replace the c172 file. Thanks for any help

Joaquin Blanco Posted March 8, 2016 at 04:18 PM Posted March 8, 2016 at 04:18 PM Bradley Like yourself I've been getting also a lot of ntdll.dll crashes due to heap corruption on windows 7 64 and always while flying the PMDG 737 which works fine. However this is happening to quite a few people under different circomestances. What works for me is to delete the P3D config and then let the sim recreate it. Once this error ocurred because I had duplicated entries on my dll.xml file, so perhaps have a look there and check the entries. When opening an xml file do so with an xml editor, editing with notepad although possible can cause errors due to incorrect spaces on the file, etc. - For your info I do not have IVAO MTL. Seem to remember reading in the Lockheed Martin forum that LM are aware of this and may fix it in the next version. Good luck and regards Best regards Joaquin Blanco
