Hello everyone.

vZTL (Atlanta ARTCC, US) Webmaster here. We are in the beta stage of our new website. Currently, we utilize VATUSA's ULS as a means of authentication with our website. Unfortunately, there is no *public* method of authentication, meaning if VATUSA ULS goes down, any public users (controllers, visitors, etc) without "backdoor" (used very lightly) access won't be able to log in. We would like to use VATSIM SSO as our secondary method of authentication. I've read the sticky posts that Kieran has made about how/what VATSIM SSO is, and how to implement it into our website (the dummy version to play around with).

I sent in a request applying for an SSO site a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything back. About how long does it take for the process to be complete?

Thanks!

Zach Yarid

To clarify, VATUSA received a new IP address from our service provider yesterday (no notice - surprise!). We requested the IP be added to our SSO authorization, and it was just approved about one minute ago. Not sure about the timeframe for new requests.

I realize the error that I made and have taken the necessary steps to resolve it.

Thanks to whomever saw this thread and took the appropriate steps!
