Desmond Klein Posted December 27, 2004 at 07:38 PM Posted December 27, 2004 at 07:38 PM I am not sure if this is a software problem or not. After connecting to the network I check my position using ServInfo and find that I am somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean near Africa, even though on Flight Simulator I am sitting on the ground at an airport. Does anyone know what is happening and how it can be fixed Thanks ----------
Martin Georg 811874 Posted December 27, 2004 at 07:49 PM Posted December 27, 2004 at 07:49 PM That´s easy, you are using FS2004 with FSUIPC 3.x, and Squawkbox has not been registered as an application with FSUIPC. Open FSUIPC from the modules menu in MSFS, klick on the "Register an application ..." button and enter the following data: Name = squawkbox Key = LWVQ 7I2V 9GPB This will do the trick. Without this FSUIPC doesn´t accept data coming from Squawkbox, and therefore your actual position coordinates are not transferred from MSFS to Squawkbox. And that´s why you are seen at 0 Lat / 0 Long . best regards, Martin Georg
Desmond Klein Posted December 27, 2004 at 09:43 PM Author Posted December 27, 2004 at 09:43 PM Thanks, that worked. My copy of FSUIPC is supposed to be registered, but maybe when I updated it lost it's registration. Thanks ----------
