Wygene Chong 1089621 Posted April 16, 2016 at 07:13 AM Posted April 16, 2016 at 07:13 AM The Reykjavik Pilot Page has recently been updated with new docomeentation for Iceland, a new Greenland scenery and new section on local airlines. There have been slight changes to procedures in Iceland, and from 28th April onwards, a new runway 01/19 to replace runway 02/20. If you have the latest navdata, you can also try out the brand new RNAV and transition ILS approaches at both BIKF and BIRK. Pilot Page: http://vatsim-scandinavia.org/pilots/airports/iceland/ The Reykjavik ATC Page has also received an update, with a brand new ATC Training Handbook. This giant docomeent steps mentors and students through the training programme from OBS to C1. It does not include absolutely everything but it is a good indicator of what is taught and some common mistakes made by students. There will also be a new Cheat Sheet going online shortly to match the procedural updates in the Guide to Iceland. ATC Page: http://vatsim-scandinavia.org/atc/general-procedures/iceland/ We hope these docomeents will be useful not only to pilots but also the wider VATEUD community. The Reykjavik ATC Team.
