Thimo Koolen Posted April 27, 2016 at 04:23 PM Posted April 27, 2016 at 04:23 PM I have no idea if this is 100% vPilot related, but here we go... It seems like vPilot makes the voice quality worse. I'm flying in controlled airspace and have a livestream on the background of said controller. Both the controller's and other pilot's voices sound so much better through the stream than through vPilot. So I have a feeling something happens when vPilot processes the audio. Ross Carlson Posted April 27, 2016 at 07:02 PM Posted April 27, 2016 at 07:02 PM Have you tried changing any of the audio settings, such as wave vs direct sound, or the volume setting, or the VHF emulation setting? Thimo Koolen Posted April 27, 2016 at 08:40 PM Author Posted April 27, 2016 at 08:40 PM I now use DirectSound instead of Wave. VHF is still off. I tried a few settings, but voice through vatsim is still so different. ACCNL4 (Training Director) - Dutch VACC
Anders Moen Posted April 28, 2016 at 06:58 AM Posted April 28, 2016 at 06:58 AM No idea if this would help, but may I suggest to lower the output volume in vPilot if you haven't already? I never have more than 15% there myself and the sound is a lot better that way. Virtual Norwegian | Oceanic Procedures
Thimo Koolen Posted April 28, 2016 at 06:38 PM Author Posted April 28, 2016 at 06:38 PM It helps a bit, but unfortunately not much. ACCNL4 (Training Director) - Dutch VACC
