Jason Helkenberg 913355 Posted May 10, 2016 at 04:04 PM Posted May 10, 2016 at 04:04 PM is there any plans to implement a D-Side to vERAM? I know it would be almost impossible to code everything that it does but for editing flight plans, tracking, turning on/off MOA's, RA, and other things could be useful. Ross Carlson Posted May 10, 2016 at 04:16 PM Posted May 10, 2016 at 04:16 PM No, I am not planning to implement any sort of D-side functionality. This is partly speculation, but I think it's generally preferable to split the center into two sectors rather than have two controllers working a single large sector, when the workload gets to the point that a D-side would be justifiable.
