Clarke Kruger Posted June 11, 2016 at 04:55 PM Posted June 11, 2016 at 04:55 PM Since I don't run either Xplane or XSquawkbox, I'm curious as how it's setup in regards to Aircraft type. As it seems a lot of the times I see a default aircraft on VATSIM and debug it through Vpilot they're usually XSquawkbox users and are not using proper ICAO codes. Always full A350-900 or B737-800 winglets. And since VATSIM USES ICAO codes for their clients they're always showing as defaults. 1275389 Posted June 11, 2016 at 04:59 PM Posted June 11, 2016 at 04:59 PM The issue is the fact the XSB doesn't limit the aircraft type. Hence how you can get stuff like "BEOING 777-200LR". Maybe the dev can change it to limit the number of characters to 4.
