Matthew Fox 1280077 Posted July 1, 2016 at 01:09 AM Posted July 1, 2016 at 01:09 AM Hello, I'm currently trying to create an personal ESE file for a particular TRACON area. I was wondering where I could find coordinates to display the sector lines. I know that the Euroscope wiki has a tutorial on formatting the sectorline but it doesn't specify where to find these coordinates.
Andreas Fuchs Posted July 1, 2016 at 08:11 AM Posted July 1, 2016 at 08:11 AM Hi Matt, people usually copy them from real world AIPs or wherever the coordinates of airspace boundaries are defined. Andreas Fuchs Posted July 1, 2016 at 03:17 PM Posted July 1, 2016 at 03:17 PM I wish I had more details for you, really! In Europe "Eurocontrol" publishes all the sector coordinates and that is where we extract them. You may want to make contact with the folks of GNG Global Nav Generator: http://gng.aero-nav.com/AERONAV/about Quite a few vACCs are already part of GNG and use this system to create and maintain their ESE and SCT files. Hope that helps! Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC
