Theo Langenberg 1343955 Posted July 14, 2016 at 12:54 PM Posted July 14, 2016 at 12:54 PM After having read and re-read and trying to follow the Vpilot instructions I am still battling with this. I simply want to download FSX default aircraft. The exercise failed. I am advised that I first have to download the FSX matching rule set. I have tried to Google this but I can't anything on this subject. Would appreciate some guidance on this.
Ross Carlson Posted July 14, 2016 at 01:27 PM Posted July 14, 2016 at 01:27 PM You don't have to download FSX Default Aircraft ... they come with FSX. You already have them. I'd say your best bet is to use vPilot 2.0, which is currently in open beta status. You can download it here: viewtopic.php?f=132&t=70966 vPilot 2.0 will automatically set up model matching for you by scanning your installed aircraft. It will automatically detect the FSX default aircraft and use some of them for model matching. Note that you should completely uninstall vPilot version 1 before installing the 2.0 beta.
