free fmc Honeywell help fsx

i have recently installed a free GMC from Honeywell for the default fsx Lear 45.

 

it looks good and seems easy to program.

 

when flying with fmc what buttons do I need pressed on the dash for autopilot. There are quite a few available.

 

there's a knob for fms/vnav/GPS/off

a button GPS/vnav

flight director on/off

approach button

speed hold

altitude set hold

heading hold

a few other buttons.

 

could do with help to know which need to be on or off.
