Board of Governors Roger Curtiss Posted September 30, 2016 at 12:54 AM Board of Governors Posted September 30, 2016 at 12:54 AM The VATSIM Virtual Airlines Department administers the Virtual Airlines Partner program- a list of approximately 300 VAs that are committed to using the network for their flight activity, have achieved a level of longevity, and maintain a critical m[Mod - Happy Thoughts] of pilot members. This list is often visited by pilots seeking to join a quality virtual airline, therefore, the VA department utilizes audit managers to ensure that the VAs listed continue to maintain the standards required to be deemed a Partner. Audit Mangers are tasked with conducting periodic audits of [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned VAs, communicating deficiencies to VAs found to be in non-compliance and reporting their findings to the Virtual Airlines department management. Audit Mangers must be capable of working independently in order to complete their [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned audits in a timely manner and be willing to devote a few hours quarterly to this responsibility.
