Jordan Grenkow 1187880 Posted October 6, 2016 at 04:23 AM Posted October 6, 2016 at 04:23 AM http://flatlinevirtual.com/ Flatline Virtual is a virtual airline that operates Flatline Aeromedical Services, a fictional medevac company. The company operates both scene responses using helicopter point to point operations as well as Interfacility Transfers, bring patients from hospital to hospital by flying airport to airport. The virtual airline operates solely on the VATSIM network at this time. Due to the complexity of the fights and uniqueness of the logging, an ACARS cannot be used to log pilot flights. At Flatline Virtual, your access to aircraft is based on your training and certification done with the staff. There is no hourly requirements in a 'rank' to be able to fly aircraft. We only ask that you have a good understanding and experience with the aircraft you wish to fly and know the basic emergency procedures of the aircraft. Flatline Virtual does not fly SAR flights, nor are our pilots permitted to request MEDEVAC priority. This airline is not a part of the vSOA virtual airlines and requesting priority is against the COC on VATSIM. If you're looking for something different and want to help get this airline off the ground, visit our website, check out some of the information and if you like what you see, fill out an application. We'd be glad to have you in our crew.
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted October 6, 2016 at 05:27 PM Board of Governors Posted October 6, 2016 at 05:27 PM I absolutely love the irony in your company name! I'm waiting for the marketing/sales pitch next that speaks to your company being aligned with your customers' future! "We work to ensure your future... Flatline!" "Need help getting treatment at the hospital fast? We'll get there fast so you can... Flatline!" I wish your VA a long and prosperous life.... In spite of your name (PS sorry for the corny jokes ) Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
Jordan Grenkow 1187880 Posted October 6, 2016 at 05:43 PM Author Posted October 6, 2016 at 05:43 PM Thanks! It's definitely the sort of humor that floats around EMS on a regular basis. "We are flatline, so you dont have to." The downside is atc sometimes thinks I'm saying flightline which is a regional airline in Spain.

Robert Shearman Jr Posted October 6, 2016 at 08:55 PM Posted October 6, 2016 at 08:55 PM Love it as well -- happy to see an organization cropping up to fill this void, long overdue. I'm out of commission at the moment due to a remodeling project, but you should definitely expect to hear from me in a few weeks. Cheers, -R.
