Dace Nicmane Posted October 17, 2016 at 11:02 AM Posted October 17, 2016 at 11:02 AM It has happened to me in some places that I get the X-plane ATIS starting to talk on unicom or even a controller frequency. How can I silence it?
Lindsey Wiebe 1101951 Posted October 17, 2016 at 04:54 PM Posted October 17, 2016 at 04:54 PM I'm not sure about x-plane but on FSX you need to go to settings-sounds and turn the ATC Volume to nil (zero); I'm [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming it's similar (of course you know what that makes U and ME). Christopher Collins Posted November 21, 2016 at 08:22 PM Posted November 21, 2016 at 08:22 PM I tried, but it silences the VATSIM ATC too. It shouldn't - they're completely independent audio systems - make sure you're using the audio settings/mixer inside X-Plane itself, and not adjusting your system volume levels.
