Renato Flores 1377935 Posted December 27, 2016 at 06:52 AM Posted December 27, 2016 at 06:52 AM Hey all, I've been trying to do a shared cockpit flight with my friend, however it doesn't seem to be working. I connect as UAL420, and he connects as UAL420A as an observer, however he isn't "teleported" to the inside of my cockpit. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm just being stupid... thanks all! Andrew Ogden Posted December 27, 2016 at 07:04 AM Posted December 27, 2016 at 07:04 AM You need to use the Shared Cockpit feature inside your simulator, for default aircraft this would be opening a LAN multiplayer session, opening up your aircraft and having your friend join your aircraft. For many payware aircraft it involves sharing ip addresses, using 3rd party software like Hamachi to connect the aircraft. Read up on the shared cockpit or connected cockpit of your aircraft. Using vPilot doesn't simply "teleport" you inside your friends aircraft. Renato Flores 1377935 Posted December 27, 2016 at 05:22 PM Author Posted December 27, 2016 at 05:22 PM Thank you so much. I'll test this later and see if it works. Since my router is port forwarded, could I just start a server for my friend and I and follow your directions from there?
