Erich Berner 834484 Posted December 30, 2016 at 09:08 AM Posted December 30, 2016 at 09:08 AM If you are the slave connection for shared cockpit, you sign in as an Observer in vPilot. If you are the Master connector, don't check Obs
Joshua Black Posted December 30, 2016 at 06:33 PM Posted December 30, 2016 at 06:33 PM To clarify, vpilot alone doesn't allow for connected flight deck. You need a program or aircraft model that supports shared cockpit operations. Joshua Black
Magnus Meese Posted December 30, 2016 at 08:25 PM Posted December 30, 2016 at 08:25 PM If you are the slave connection for shared cockpit, you sign in as an Observer in vPilot. If you are the Master connector, don't check Obs If you agree that Master = Pilot Flying, I definately recommend the complete opposite. PNF has got to be able to write text on freq, as that's a part of handling the radios on VATSIM. Observers can't do that, therefore the PF has got to be the Obs.
