Christopher Crawford Posted January 11, 2017 at 11:56 AM Posted January 11, 2017 at 11:56 AM I just updated to vPilot v2 and some of the traffic on vatsim is invisible, most of them appear ok, but there are a select few that I cannot see. For example a 747-400 matches to the correct livery etc... However a 777-200GE will not show up as anything, just invisible, even though I have the liveries installed through WOAI also I have the PMDG version available that it could match to, but doesnt? Is there a way to fix this?
Christopher Crawford Posted January 11, 2017 at 12:22 PM Author Posted January 11, 2017 at 12:22 PM It seems to be any aircraft with a prefix, like A319 IAE etc...
Christopher Crawford Posted January 11, 2017 at 12:31 PM Author Posted January 11, 2017 at 12:31 PM Okay so I found that if I disable aircraft cast shadows on ground that the models with prefixes will come back and I can see them, however I quite like having aircraft shadows on the ground. Is there a way to have this option enabled and still see the aircraft?
Norman Blackburn Posted January 11, 2017 at 12:35 PM Posted January 11, 2017 at 12:35 PM Okay so I found that if I disable aircraft cast shadows on ground that the models with prefixes will come back and I can see them, however I quite like having aircraft shadows on the ground. Is there a way to have this option enabled and still see the aircraft? Sadly that was a bug that shipped with FSX. The only way is to replace the model being used to show that particular one. Christopher Crawford Posted January 11, 2017 at 01:36 PM Author Posted January 11, 2017 at 01:36 PM Ahh, that would require me replacing a lot of models. I guess I will get used to no shadows Thanks Norman
