Ed Thwaites 1360741 Posted January 20, 2017 at 08:01 PM Posted January 20, 2017 at 08:01 PM Help! I can't connect my headset to vPilot for some reason. On the audio menu I can only see the inbuilt stuff. I do have a combined Headphone/Microphone jack however, this should make no difference. There is no driver / install for these headphones anyways. One of the main reasons why I got this headset was for Vatsim! Thanks! Ed

Ross Carlson Posted January 21, 2017 at 03:36 AM Posted January 21, 2017 at 03:36 AM Do your headphones have a 3.5mm plug, or a USB plug? If it's a 3.5mm plug (which it sounds like it is the way you describe it as a combined headphones/mic plug) then that means it will not show up as its own audio device in the vPilot audio device lists. You should just select whichever built-in device you plugged the headset into. And are you sure your sound device supports a combined headset/mic plug? I've always seen them as separate inputs, but I haven't used a non-USB headset for many years, so maybe things have changed.
