I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume vPilot, but you posted in the vSTARS forum. I was wondering if this might be cause by the Tower View (with vSTARS). I get the error in vPilot but only when I run the tower view.
Ross Carlson Posted February 12, 2017 at 03:11 AM Posted February 12, 2017 at 03:11 AM Hrm ... I don't even see how that's possible. vSTARS has nothing to do with SimConnect. Ross Carlson Posted February 13, 2017 at 02:26 AM Posted February 13, 2017 at 02:26 AM No idea ... error 1 is just a generic error ... the SimConnect docomeentation doesn't give any details on what that error means. Alex Seeberger Posted June 7, 2017 at 03:20 PM Posted June 7, 2017 at 03:20 PM Hey Josh, I was experiencing a similar problem. Make sure the aircraft you are using for tower view is an actual aircraft. I was using an avatar in P3D thinking that would reduce system resources. I switched my tower view aircraft to the J-3 Cub and no more Error 1 messages. Ross, this also fixed my issues with aircraft states (gear and engines) being incorrectly represented within P3D.
