LA/CA/MCI List cannot be resized through the TM(1-100) command.

It also doesn't look like there's any data stored in the PrefSets for this setting.

What is leading you to think that the command is not working?

To provide a good bug report, always include the following:

1) Steps to reproduce the bug

2) The expected result

3) The actual result

#1 and #2 are usually obvious, but always include them anyway since it may highlight a misunderstanding that shows that it's not actually a bug but rather a lack of understanding of how the software works.

Regarding saving in the pref set, that's a separate issue, so please post it separately, or at least give items 1-3 (above) for that item separately.

Thanks.

Bug 1: LA/CA/MCI List cannot be resized through the TM(1-100) command.

Reproduce: using TWRTrainer, connect multiple aircraft (let's say 5) that are in a conflict with each other and track them. Then enter the command TM2.

Expected: the LA/CA/MCI list should now only contain two aircraft.

Actual: the LA/CA/MCI list contains all aircraft in conflict.

Bug 2: no setting for LA/CA/MCI size.

Reproduce: open up vSTARSConfig.xml, find a PrefSet, scan through PrefSet for "LACAMCIListSize" or similarly named element.

Expected: "LACAMCIListSize" element exists, holding an Integer value.

Actual: "LACAMCIListSize" does not exist.

Can you send me your config file? When I test on my own machine, the pref set entry is there, and it updates properly when I issue the command and then save the pref set.

I will hold off on trying to reproduce the first issue until we have the second one resolved, as they are likely related.

I can reproduce this now ... I think when I was trying to reproduce it earlier and couldn't, I was using the coast/suspend list instead.

Looks like this was just a docomeentation error. The real STARS system does not allow you to change the size of the LA/CA/MCI list ... it just shows ALL entries at all times. Makes sense given the urgent nature of the items in that list. This is how vSTARS behaves.

I will remove the errant docomeentation entry for the next build.
