Timm Rehberg Posted February 25, 2017 at 02:44 PM Posted February 25, 2017 at 02:44 PM Hi guys, as a user of the Aerosoft A320 (future A330), PMDG 777 and the PMDG 747, I am wondering why the companies do not implement a feature like CPDLC into the plane. Is there any restriction by the network? No Interface? Just think about all 777, 747 and A330 pilots have CPDLC available and using it. It could help everybody and increase the realism as well! Maybe someone can explain me this. Thanks a lot Timm Timm Rehberg V1 Simulations | SimAware MSFS | Prepar3D v5.3 | Intel i9 9900K | ASUS TUF 3090 | ASUS Z390E Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/V1Simulations/

Timm Rehberg Posted February 25, 2017 at 06:24 PM Author Posted February 25, 2017 at 06:24 PM Aerosoft has announced that our recent CPDLC Topic Night has encouraged them to implement CPDLC into their upcoming A330. Sounds promising! Indeed, a very positive and nice message from their side! Which could also mean that they will update the A32x series as well. I really hope that PMDG is going to do this step as well as the "FMC page" is already clickable but not linked to a tool/software. Thanks for the news! Kirk Christie Posted April 16, 2017 at 01:52 AM Posted April 16, 2017 at 01:52 AM Aerosoft has announced that our recent CPDLC Topic Night has encouraged them to implement CPDLC into their upcoming A330. Sounds promising! Except they have no desire to use the hoppies network, they are waiting on VATSIM to come out with a CPDLC client.
