Howdy,

Found this D-BRITE picture in an online article about ATC:

Thought it might be EWR... but the "right" long runway seems too long.

Am I thinking too hard? Dateline for the article was Washington, but I forget the link at present.

This looks to me like it is EWR. 4R is longer than 4L because most takeoffs are on 4L and landing 4R. Also 11-29 can be seen.

From the chart.

4R is 10000'

4L is 11000'

Now, I can't think of any other airports with a configuration that looks like EWR, which is why I'm leaning toward it. It's just that one runway that's throwing me. Hopefully a ZNY guy can look at it and relate to their airspace a little better?

Looks like EWR to me too. Some possible points of reference:

Statue of Liberty inside the circle off the east runway centerline

The TEB runways off to the NE just outside the second arc.

MMU's runways to the WNW (SW of what looks like a target moving NW)

CDW's runways to the NNW (NE of that same target)

I was just about to ask what obstruction that was with the circle of dots around it. Thanks SP.

Deff EWR, as Steven said, TEB to the north, MMU to the NW (I recognize that, I fly outta there! ) CDW to the NNW

Agreed, EWR. Further clues: The OPT (Options) jet mear KTEB and the BTA (Jetlink (Continental Express)) on approach fot 4R. There is the obstruction just NW of Teterboro as well. The circled object is the statue of liberty.
