The Winnipeg Flight Information Region (CZWG FIR) is hiring! We are seeking leaders in the aviation community who are team-orientated, well organized, and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ionate about Air Traffic Control, VATCAN, and VATSIM!

 

We are accepting applications for the following positions:

 

• 
  Saskatoon Facilities Group Lead
  Moose Jaw Facilities Group Lead
  Thunder Bay Facilities Group Lead
  

 

Facilities Lead positions are granted to controllers who possess a rating of C1 or higher, who are specifically familiar with the operation of facilities within their group. Each Facility Lead will be responsible for the following:

 

• 
  Keeping up-to-date on real-world operational changes at their facilities
  Disseminating information to local facilities group controllers p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed down from CZWG FIR Staff
  Modifying specific facility Standard Operating Procedures with oversight from the [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant Chief and/or Chief as needed
  Development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures for their facilities
  Answering operational control questions for their facilities group and the FIR as a whole
  Regular reporting to the [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant Chief and/or Chief
  Facilities Leads may have oversight of more than one facilities group, as listed below:

Moose Jaw Facilities Group

Thunder Bay Facilities Group
