Shane VanHoven Posted March 25, 2017 at 01:03 AM Posted March 25, 2017 at 01:03 AM See screenshots, when the departure scope acquires the track, the data block does not open.
Ross Carlson Posted March 25, 2017 at 02:45 AM Posted March 25, 2017 at 02:45 AM Do you know if that departure had previously arrived at the airport? Or even previously departed? Dominic Nguyen Posted March 25, 2017 at 06:20 PM Posted March 25, 2017 at 06:20 PM Did you configure the adjacent/intrafacilities in the settings?
Ross Carlson Posted March 25, 2017 at 07:24 PM Posted March 25, 2017 at 07:24 PM Did you configure the adjacent/intrafacilities in the settings? If I remember right (it's been a while since I wrote vSTARS) it won't accept the quick look command if it's not a valid sector ID in the facility. Dhruv Kalra Posted March 26, 2017 at 11:38 AM Posted March 26, 2017 at 11:38 AM Did you configure the adjacent/intrafacilities in the settings? I made the file. Yes, all position letters are properly configured. Dhruv Kalra VATUSA ZMP ATM | Instructor | VATSIM Network Supervisor
Shane VanHoven Posted March 26, 2017 at 03:45 PM Author Posted March 26, 2017 at 03:45 PM Do you know if that departure had previously arrived at the airport? Or even previously departed? I know for sure that the aircraft had not previously arrived. This was the first time it had been airborne on that connection. By the way, I should mention that the screenshot was taken while I was working as a local position, with another controller working H which was the departure scope. Everything is configured properly as DK said.
Ross Carlson Posted March 27, 2017 at 02:45 AM Posted March 27, 2017 at 02:45 AM Is this happening consistently every time, or just some of the time? And was it like this before the beta release? Because I don't believe I've changed anything with regards to autotrack since vSTARS was originally released. Because I don't believe I've changed anything with regards to autotrack since vSTARS was originally released. It's intermittent, and yes QL was inconsistent in 1.0. We had a spare scope set up live streaming our last live event that we had to manually force data blocks on occasionally. Unfortunately it was a bit too busy to try and nail down a pattern. Ross Carlson Posted March 27, 2017 at 06:45 AM Posted March 27, 2017 at 06:45 AM Okay, cool ... see if you can identify any patterns and let me know. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
