YOSHITAKA NAKANO 1323728 Posted March 27, 2017 at 11:14 AM Posted March 27, 2017 at 11:14 AM Hello. I want to use Tower view with vPilot. I started proxy server of euroscope, then entered .towerview to vPilot working P3D v3 multi player tower view. After that,vPilot was displayed "Connection error (10061).I checked to open port 6809,but it has already opened. If you have many solutions, please tell me. Thanks! Ross Carlson Posted March 27, 2017 at 12:57 PM Posted March 27, 2017 at 12:57 PM Error 10061 is "connection refused", so something is blocking the port. You mentioned that you opened the port, but where did you open it? It needs to be opened in the firewall on your local computer. (Not somewhere else like your router ... the router doesn't come into play here.) Also, if you're opening it in your firewall for a specific program, it needs to be open for ES, not vPilot, since ES is the program that actually opens the port to wait for connections. I'm [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming you're running vPilot and P3D on the same machine. Is that right? Ross Carlson Posted March 27, 2017 at 05:40 PM Posted March 27, 2017 at 05:40 PM I opened both TCP and UDP of 6809. Where did you do that? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
YOSHITAKA NAKANO 1323728 Posted March 29, 2017 at 10:23 AM Author Posted March 29, 2017 at 10:23 AM I did Number 6809. I see that in this page Euroscope has needed to open port of 6809 for using tower view. http://www.euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=Connection_Features
Ross Carlson Posted March 29, 2017 at 02:19 PM Posted March 29, 2017 at 02:19 PM Did you open port 6809 in your router, or in your Windows firewall? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC

Ross Carlson Posted March 30, 2017 at 03:59 PM Posted March 30, 2017 at 03:59 PM That was not a yes or no question. Which one did you open it in ... the router or the Windows firewall? YOSHITAKA NAKANO 1323728 Posted April 1, 2017 at 03:57 AM Author Posted April 1, 2017 at 03:57 AM I'm sorry. I opened it in the router. And I excluded euroscope and vPilot from windows firewall.
Ross Carlson Posted April 1, 2017 at 04:27 AM Posted April 1, 2017 at 04:27 AM Opening the port in your router shouldn't be necessary since you're connecting internally. Excluding ES and vPilot from the firewall should be sufficient ... not sure why it won't connect. Morten Jelle Posted April 12, 2017 at 04:49 AM Posted April 12, 2017 at 04:49 AM Have you checked if your antivirus has a firewall option, that may block application connections? Can you connect two proxy connections of Euroscope? Morten Jelle VATSIM Network Supervisor, Team Lead - Supervisor Team
