I think we can all infer what it means

Friday night fly fun....when/where is this published? There seems to be so many places to seek out what events are being held and where. Some get posted in Fly-In forum....some are on individual ATRCC sites...some are in the United States forum....some on the VATUSA event page. For instance I never saw that Tampa was in the spotlight last night until after getting home, dinner, family stuff...and checking out Servinfo. No time to check out charts etc. And then you have all the VA stuff going down....some get posted, but I bet more don't. Even though I am not involved with a VA, joining in a fly-in knowing that certain regions are going to be staffed would add to realism...having some GA guys mixing it up with the heavies, or is this frowned upon?

Is there any way to have ONE (1) repository for events??? Looking at the VATSIM event calendar has nothing but European stuff??

The events that are most prevelant in the US are VA events. There is no central repository for those events. The event that Lance hosts, TGIF, info is at www.vcair.com

Not to be confused with the AVA event or any of the others which have sprung up.

aww, you guys dropped AVA? Or did they leave on their own? Or am I just way late on the news? Would be nice having 5 official TGIF VA's, more traffic.

Lance,

There is nothing like good natured, friendly competition. The winners of all these events are the pilots of the various VAs out there who paricitipate. As you know, even though AvA left TGIF, we wish TGIF and the VAs who participate in it nothing but the best.

I will leave my comments at that. There have been enough "grease fires" in this section of the forum lately. No need to start any more... haha

Well Terry,

They left on their own about a month ago now. Sim Southwest just rejoined the gang this weekend though, so back up to 4.

I dare say that these days you can't find good airfare.

The only reason to put me in despair.
