The Worldflight organisers have released the routing and timings of their next event, which kicks off on the 4th November 2017 at 2200z for a week. The full detail of each leg can be found here.

Worldflight is an annual, week-long "round the world" flight which takes place on the VATSIM network. A number of teams based across the world fly a number of fix-based simulators on VATSIM across the world to raise money for different charities. The beauty of the event is that all VATSIM members are invited to join the teams in this challenge, and every year the skies of VATSIM are filled as hundreds of pilots join the effort, supported by highly trained local ATC to guide them.

You can find out more about Worldflight by visiting the Worldflight website, and we look forward to having you join us in November!

Folks, the team at WorldFlight are thrilled to announce the release of the final WorldFlight 2017 routes, times, and suggested sceneries spreadsheet.

As always, all the WorldFlight information is available via our website, but for the sake of convenience, here is a direct link to download the Excel file.

We look forward to seeing all the regulars, the irregulars, and the first timers join us on our annual adventure whether you're on a flight deck, or behind a radar scope.

Wonderful news Tracy! For the Iceland (BIKF) and Greenland (BGSF) legs, we highly recommend the pilot briefings located at VATSIM Scandinavia's dedicated page for the Reykjavik Control Area, which covers both Iceland and Greenland:

Importantly, pilots often do not know that BIRD_CTR controls the area over Central Greenland, including international flights out of BGSF. I also notice you are missing the sceneries for BGSF. There is an excellent freeware scenery here, which is also advertised on the VATSIM Scandinavia page.

Looking forward to supporting VATSIM's biggest annual charity event!
