Transferring Model Matching Rules

I am currently using FSX and I have a model matching rules set on Vpilot which works great. My question is I will soon be moving over to P3D v4, will my model matching rule set that I have in Vpilot work if I transfer my models from FSX to P3D v4? Will I need to recreate the rule set or will Vpilot just scan P3D looking for the models in the rule set?

Are you talking about a custom rule set that you made yourself?

Then when you switch to P3D, that custom rule set will still be loaded. As long as you have those same models installed in P3D, the custom rules will work.

That is great, I was not sure if the rule set pointed to a specific simulator or directory within my FSX.

Thanks so much Ross for such a quick response.

Cheers
