Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted June 5, 2017 at 03:48 AM Posted June 5, 2017 at 03:48 AM thats not a simple one to answer as you can actually adjust it. but to keep it simple, for flightsim purposes if you use FS9, FSX, p3d v1, v2, or v3, the maximum the application will use is 4GB as they are 32bit applications. if you have Xplane or the new P3D v4, now you get much much more which again you can adjust on your PC (lots of tutorials online). if i remember right Microsoft recommends having it multiplied by 1.5 to 3.0 of the installed ram (IE: if you have 32gb of RAM, page file/virtual ram, can be set to 48000mb/48gb). me personally, leave it alone unless you feel comfortable adjusting it after going through the tutorials should also note if you do set it to 48gb for example, your hard drive will take 48gb away to save for that. so if your hard drive is only 100gb, you just lost almost half of it
