Robert Padgham Posted June 18, 2017 at 09:37 AM Posted June 18, 2017 at 09:37 AM Hi. I'm getting the following error when trying to update vPilot to the recent 2.5 version. Error opening the file for writing: c:\Users\Rob\AppData\Local\vPilot\vPilot.exe followed by the Abort, Retry and ignore buttons. I have Nortons disabled, and the files are located where the updater is looking. Any ideas anyone? Rob Padgham Robert Padgham

Robert Padgham Posted June 21, 2017 at 04:23 AM Author Posted June 21, 2017 at 04:23 AM Thank you Don, but yes I am. I should have mentioned that. I've had one thought and that's that I wonder if it's not so much as an update, but more of a complete install and that I would have to uninstall the previous version first? I guess there's only way to find out. Job for the weekend. Robert Padgham
Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted June 21, 2017 at 11:12 AM Board of Governors Posted June 21, 2017 at 11:12 AM No, no need to uninstall when upgrading vPilot versions. I would suggest a reinstall. Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
