Andrew Morkunas Posted July 3, 2017 at 10:00 PM Posted July 3, 2017 at 10:00 PM Another newbie (noob) question. I am able to auto track departing aircraft. I am able to pick up a track to an aircraft with a beacon code I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned. I am unable to pick up tracks using the method in command reference sheet. F3 (QT), click location, call sign, enter. The CST data tag appears over the primary target but the track never starts. What am I doing wrong? In this example N66JE departed KPNE. I tried to pick up his track after he took off and no joy. Andrew Morkunas Twitch: padre_andrew ATC Simulations

Joshua Black Posted July 3, 2017 at 10:28 PM Posted July 3, 2017 at 10:28 PM Has the flight plan been activated by using the command "DM N66GE"? Joshua Black
Andrew Morkunas Posted July 3, 2017 at 10:53 PM Author Posted July 3, 2017 at 10:53 PM I did not find DM in the command reference sheet other than under F1. Using DM on departing aircraft seems to work. Andrew Morkunas Twitch: padre_andrew ATC Simulations
1275389 Posted July 4, 2017 at 12:01 AM Posted July 4, 2017 at 12:01 AM Yeah, DMing the aircraft actives their flightplan. If you have autotrack on for some airports, it essentially does the DMing for you.
