Hi, 1st of all, let me tell you that I read all the docs in the vatsim page, and that I made a search before posting this, and even though I found some info, still the problem remains, so:

When I try to log in I get the Connection to lobby failed thing.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

thks

Yes...if you are using a Linksys router and Windows XP:

-Go to Start-->Control Panel

-Click on Network Connections

-Double click on Internet or the main internet connect, click on the Support tab and copy what is in the default gateway.

-Paste said default gateway into the URL box of your browser. (side note: get firefox www.getfirefox.com.)

-Hit enter

-A box should appear asking for a username and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word. Type in "admin" for both.

-Purple website-ish thing should start. Click on the Administration tab. Disable UPnP.

I had this same problem the other day on a computer that had been connecting fine for months. I don't use a router. But in my case, it was Zone Alarm that was messed up. If you have it, reinstall it.

hi, thks for the reply. I tryed doubleclicking on the connection I use, but I can only find a "general" and "details" tab...

I tryed looking for somewhere where it said anything about the gateway but no luck...is there any other way to get the gateway?

thks

EDIT: Ups, sorry only now I noticed that you said that it worked if I was using a router...no, I'm just using windows XP SP2, so is there any other way to fix this problem?
