Running both MSFX and Prepar3D

I'm contemplating moving to Prepar3D from MSFX and am wondering if vPilot is smart enough to connect to the running sim (whether or not it is MSFX or Prepar3D) or must I have only one flight sim installed on my computer at a time?

Just to be clear, I am not talking about running the two simultaneously but either one or the other.

Thanks,

Yes, it will connect to whichever is running.

Note that if you switch from one to the other, you'll need to go into the model matching settings and tell vPilot which one you're using, so that it uses the right models.
