I used to have a Logitech USB Headset (cannot remember the exact model at the moment) and I just previously upgraded to a turtle beach X12 Over-The-Ear Microphone and headset that has an audio and microphone jack. Since my machine only has one jack I got a splitter and it seems to work on skype, discord, etc. The problem is, whenever I test it with the Vpilot Mic Configuration tool, it says the mic is too cold and the background noise is too loud. When I hear the audio back, it is distorted and muffled. Is there any way I can fix this or is this an issue with the mic?
