Don't post two topics on the same question.

You asked here - you also got a response. I'd suggest reading that response

i've never seen so many rude people on a forum designed to help people before. It's no wonder I can't get in.

Who was rude?

Matthew simply stated what is beyond obvious - you don't repeatedly post the same question once it's been answered. Chris was told (http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?p=69553&highlight=#69553) to read the materials in the PRC (http://www.vatsim.net/prc) and, instead, decided -- only 35 minutes after he was directed to the proper resource -- that he'd try again to get someone to hand-hold him through a procedure that he should read.

Respectfully,

i can say i've been reading those for days and I'm still as clueless as the first time. I'm not a beginer when it comes to computers but the way it's written, it's a lot of "do this" and not a lot of "how to"

"Do this...." is "How to...."

Why don't you tell us

1) what you've downloaded

2) what you've installed and

3) the precise step-by-step procedure of how you are trying to connect to the servers?

Then maybe we can help.

Respectfully,

"do this" is not always a how to. anyway, what I'm doing is, opening FS2004. I'm then selecting the module FSUICP. Squawkbox is not found in this module so I'm opening it on its own. I can hear controllers and pilots talking, but I have NO clue if I'm flying on the server or in the game itself.

Clement , SB3 does not " live " in the FSUIPC module , FSUIPC is the program that allows SB3 to interact with Flightsim. To connect :

1) Click on MODULES in Flightsim

2) Click Start Squawkbox . ( This will be below FSUIPC in the drop down menu)

3) The main Squawkbox rectangle will appear after SB3 has gone through its startup procedure

4) Click on the START button in SB3

5) Click on CONNECT . This will bring up the SB3 connection box. Make sure you have filled in all of the required fields

6) Click on the CONNECT button. SB3 will initialise the multiplayer connection , and connect you to the server.

If there is ATC avialable in your area , the ATC Positions name and radio frequency will display in green writing. If there are other aircraft online near you , you should be able to see them once you are connected.
