Ziv Fuchsbrauner 1370880 Posted August 2, 2017 at 07:53 PM Posted August 2, 2017 at 07:53 PM Will controllers attending C/N/W_CTR normally provide services for arrivals into EGLL/EGKK when traffic density allows or is it strictly not practiced? Thimo Koolen Posted August 2, 2017 at 07:55 PM Posted August 2, 2017 at 07:55 PM Yeah, they do. I've had them even provide pushback/taxi instructions on the ground as well. ACCNL4 (Training Director) - Dutch VACC
Board of Governors Simon Kelsey Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:55 PM Board of Governors Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:55 PM Just to clarify: LON_C, LON_N and LON_W will (should) not be handling Gatwick top-down, at all. LON_S is the overlying sector, and is often bandboxed with C to give LON_SC (covering both the S and C sectors). In summary, the only LON callsigns providing top-down at Gatwick are: LON_S_CTR LON_SC_CTR LON_CTR (when, rarely, all four sectors are bandboxed together) Vice President, Pilot Training
