Ben Allsop 1400515 Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:55 PM Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:55 PM Hi guys, I've been playing fsx for ages but only started playing online recently. I need help with the radio as I don't get how to use it. For example when I'm on http://www.vattastic.com/ and I'm at Gatwick and get the ATC frequency 134.220 I know how to get the 134 bit of the frequency by going onto nav 2 and changing it to 134 but the .220 I get confused with as it can only go to .0 and .50 any help? Many Thanks Ben Allsop
1275389 Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:57 PM Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:57 PM Hey Ben, .220 and .225 are treated the same on the network.
Bradley Grafelman Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:59 PM Posted August 2, 2017 at 08:59 PM Sounds like your radio is set to 50 kHz spacing rather than 25 kHz spacing. [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming it supports the latter, there may be a simulated knob you need to pull in order to get the "finer" tuning. Which sim and which aircraft are you using? Ross Carlson Posted August 2, 2017 at 09:39 PM Posted August 2, 2017 at 09:39 PM You said Nav2 ... but if you're tuning an ATC frequency, you want a COM radio, not NAV.
