If you are using FS2004 then when you start SB3 it should have FS automatically join its session. The clue is you will see a message about a lobby connection.

If you doint see this message (or are using FS2002) go to flights, multiplayer. The IP address will be the localhost 127.0.0.1

If, and its not quite sure if this is your question, you mean there are no servers to choose from the drop down list in SB3, then this is easily fixed.

Wander on over to www.squawkbox.ca and look in the FAQ on the forum.

Thank you, my problem is that there are no servers to choose from the drop down list in SB3. I cant seem to find any solution in the sb3 faq website either. I am also not sure as to what i should put in the call sign box?

Have you read the SB3 set-up instructions in the Pilot Resource Center at www.vatsim.net/prc?

Technical Support @ squawkbox forum has a number of sticky posts, one of which is entitled Workaround for people unable to download server list

Yes, I know I said FAQ. Same thing

Hope this helps.

As for a callsign, choose one of your own making, try to keep it in ICAO format (no DELTA54 or AirForce1 please).

Such examples would be DAL54 / BAW54 / KNT544 etc

Choose a different server. There are at least one of those servers that is no longer available.

I have tried connecting to every server on the list but they all return the same message, "an error occured connecting to the Air Traffic Control Server, bad adress".

Maybe the problem is that i am not sure what should be hapening in microsoft simulator when i press connect, what i do is : open mfs2004 then open squakbox 3 then go to ms2004 multiplayer>open multiplayeer sesion> join session squakbox, press ok, then i open squakbox press connect, fill in all my info, select the server and press conect and then it gives me that error message.

These are the server ip s that are listed in squakbox :

Vatsim usa w - 216.93.170.44

vatsim usa se - 216.49.160.26

vatsim usa s3 - 66.221.192.84

vatsim usa s1 - 66.98.168.65 <-- do these seem allright?

These may be helpfull -> http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f378/himerzi/filledin.gif and http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f378/himerzi/agf.gif

Thank for the help so far!
