The only thing that i think is missing is the real weather controlled by vPilot, changing in real time the weather at FSX. If you implement this feature it will be a complete and the best software for pilots ever.

Why does vPilot need to handle weather? There are plenty of free addons you can download that handle weather for FSX/P3D.

It doesn't need to, but it'd be nice if it could, right? Presumably, that's why it's a suggestion, not a demand.

Actually, IMHO, no, it wouldn't.

 

Properly parsing real-world weather sources and injecting them into the simulator isn't a task without its own logic and problems to solve. There are already software solutions out there that focus on this one task. Expanding vPilot's core roles to include weather would require more effort from its developer - both initially and as ongoing maintenance. It's one more thing that would need to be developed, iterated, tested, etc., and thus one more thing that could be a source of bugs/errors.

 

The phrase "jack of all trades, master of none" seems relevant.
